Academy Teacher & Founder:
Algerita Sanders “Mrs. A”
Welcome to Bright Beginnings Virtual Christian Academy! I am a blessed mother of six children and a dedicated educator with 17 years of homeschooling experience. My journey into home education began unexpectedly. When my oldest daughter missed the traditional school enrollment deadline by just a few days, I refused to let a calendar delay her potential. I transformed our dining room into a lively classroom, intending to teach her the standard kindergarten curriculum. Instead, a beautiful spark was lit. Not only did my daughter thrive, but her younger brother sat alongside us and absorbed every single lesson. Both children advanced rapidly, far outperforming standard grade levels in reading, comprehension, and mathematics. In that dining room, God revealed a profound truth to me: learning is never confined by age. Instead, children excel when they are placed in exciting, intentional, and faith-filled environments. The proof of this philosophy is in my own home. Today, three of my adult children are excelling in college and building bright futures. My fourth child developed such a deep love for literacy in our home classroom that she became a published author at age 12, releasing her sequel at age 14. My youngest two children, ages 10 and 7, continue to learn at home and are currently achieving well beyond their traditional grade levels. I firmly believe that learning should be an joyful, inspiring adventure. When we expose our children to academic success and godly principles at a young age, we set them on a lifelong path of achievement. Because here at Bright Beginnings, we know that bright beginnings truly make bright futures.
